Written during Charlie Porter's research for the 'Bring No Clothes: Bloomsbury and Fashion' exhibition held at Charleston Lewes, this book looks back at the wardrobes of the early twentieth century, when fashion as we know it was born, in an attempt to answer why we wear what we wear today.
