This design was taken from a drawing by the artist Duncan Grant, 1913-1914, for the Omega Workshops, a design enterprise established by the art critic Roger Fry. This limited-edition, high quality range is a collaboration between The Courtauld Institute of Art and Christopher Farr Rugs.

Christopher Farr is an artist and designer who combines heritage textile craftsmanship with contemporary design. As well as making bespoke rugs to order, Christopher Farr collaborates with iconic artists and designers, both past and present, to produce ‘CF Editions’, high-quality ranges of rugs that remain faithful to the original designs they are created from.

In collaboration with The Courtauld Institute of Art, Christopher Farr has produced a limited-edition range of rugs based on original designs from the Omega Workshops (1913-1919). Founded by painter and art critic Roger Fry, and co-directed by the artists Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, the Workshops employed some of the most radical avant-garde artists of the day to create experimental designs and items for the home.

Every rug is fabricated to the highest standards and delivered directly from the manufacturer with a label referencing the respective Omega design from the Courtauld archive.
